Senator Runner achieved success as a businesswoman when she formed "The Runner Group," a public relations/marketing company located in the High Desert. A lifelong advocate of education, she co-founded Desert Christian Schools in 1977 and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Committed to giving back to her community, Senator Runner serves on non-profit organizations like the United Way, the CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center, A.V. Crime Task Force and A.V. Hospital Gift Foundation.
